What I've learned in 2010

Looking back on what I learned in 2010...:


1) pressure is only a fragment of my imagination...add a child to moving abroad, and everything seems easier?
2) public partial nudity is no longer an issue - says the one who forgot to buckle one side of the bra and wearing a good 'food'-shirt, while leaning down from row 1 in the fully packed airplane
3) innovation - while wanting to know all of it - I've learned to narrow it down to 2 subjects:







- management (how to induce ideas to develop and not letting them linger around)
- strategy (how to rethink your future and challenge your competition markets)
- IT-development (SW, Open Source, Medical equipments..)
- communication (Social network services)
- ...
4) simplicity is best - celebrate New Years by sleeping already at 10... :o)
5) wind down - Jammies can work for the whole day and the day after
6) a good hairdresser is as rare as me! Going 'Charly' (remember the movie Long Kiss Goodnight, and you will understand) was the best decision after 3 unsuccessful tries
7) creativity was long lost - but found again...
8) following a recipe is really not a bad idea..
9) MOVE as fast as a ninja when Dad tells his ready-to-shower baby 'pee on mom' - because he will! (The Son - not the Dad)
10) friendships ignore the distances in the world
11) pain is just an illusion (says the one before going into labour without the aid of medication)
